She did a wonderful job in negotiating and securing us a record breaking sale price for our home and particular floor plan. She was able to work with our fast timeline and the property was sold in less than a week on the market with multiple offers. It went so well that we were able to get into  contract earlier than we had anticipated, so we could enjoy our vacation and not have to think about selling our home. We were ecstatic to accept an offer that was over 100k above our asking price.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Betty Chen. Me and my husband were first-time homebuyers with very limited knowledge about how to find the right place. We met with a couple of realtors before Betty, but we knew instantly that she was the one for us. She is honest and takes the  extra steps to make sure that the house as disclosed as possible (she checks for permit validity when she found suspicious add-on to the house that was not listed in the disclosure). Her experience and knowledge really helped to take the pressure off of us. Throughout the past several months, Betty has been there every step of the way. She has always answered every call or email no matter what time of day or night it was. She would go to open houses in different communities with us and educated us on the pros and cons of each house. Sit down with us for several hours to go through house disclosures and reports. As I was preparing to sell my house, I was searching for real estate agents to interview. Betty's timely marketing flier in the mail alerted me to her, so on a whim, I set up an appointment to meet. As real estate agents normally do, she reviewed the recent housing activity in the area, the current  available inventory, and her marketing strategies. But what sold me on choosing Betty was a few things: she presented a nice firm handshake (back then, it was socially acceptable and I appreciated it), she mentioned that she lived nearby and has local knowledge that would be beneficial to prospective buyers, she speaks a couple languages (helpful in this multi-cultural environment), and she seemed genuinely interested in what we wanted from the sale besides a good price. Betty not only provided constructive comments on ways to improve the house and she also referred me to several quality contractors, who by the way, provided excellent services. Betty was very responsive to text and email questions, she kept me up to date with house preparation activities and, of course, with any and all interest regarding the property. I also appreciated the fact that Betty took a little time to get to know us. She was involved in the whole process, by attending house inspections, helping translate the real estate lingo of the piles of paperwork, and providing her professional opinion regarding the offers.
